At the Fair in Udine from 2 to 5 and from 9 to 12 October.

Two major, eagerly awaited events taking place simultaneously, within a single exhibition and networking venue.

A home is best enjoyed when it is functional, cosy and safe, built and furnished to high standards using quality materials, with installations and systems that improve everyday life. A home is also our way of putting efficiency and energy saving into practice. With more than 150 exhibitors from our region, Italy and Slovenia, Casa Moderna offers solutions, products and advice for interiors and gardens.
With Saperi & Sapori, the journey continues in Hall 8. The best of the region’s craftsmanship and specialities will be on display, including mosaics, woodwork, fashion, textiles and local specialities, with around 40 companies taking part. A unique opportunity to explore the charm and quality of Friuli Venezia Giulia, because home is also the place where the art of ‘craftsmanship’, tradition and authentic flavours are expressed.

Music of the Celestial Spheres
Sunday 11 October Ore 18:30 Cavallerizza – Former Osoppo Barracks The Val d’Isonzo Wind Orchestra will guide the audience on a journey of discovery through the universe, performing original pieces for a wind orchestra, but also arrangements from great symphonic music. Alongside the music, visitors will be able to immerse themselves visually in the space thanks to the videos created by Marco De Stabile, produced using high-resolution images taken from NASA’s website. We Like Gravel Autunno 2026
Saturday 10 October sees the return of We Like Gravel, the cycle tour that starts and finishes in San Daniele del Friuli and winds its way along gravel roads, dirt tracks, hills and the banks of the Tagliamento. There are two loops to choose from: 103 km for those looking for a more challenging day’s ride, passing through Spilimbergo, Sequals and the Val d’Arzino, or 67 km between San Daniele, Ragogna and the rolling countryside. Family sagas of the adventures and stories of the Toppo and Florio families in Buttrio
Saturday 10 October 4.00 pm Guided tours of the Villa di Toppo-Florio Park: “Family sagas: the history and stories of the Toppo and Florio families in Buttrio” with Dr Veronica Tomasettig. The villa and its grounds provide the backdrop to the historical events surrounding the Toppo and Florio families. Through historical documents, accounts of collections, wars and thefts, visitors will follow the fascinating history of the area from its origins to the present day, whilst admiring the only archaeobotanical park in northern Italy featuring an original 18th-century layout. SUNS Europe
SUNS Europe is the European festival of the arts in minority languages. Founded in 2009 as a platform for groups and musicians performing in one of the minority languages of the Alpine-Mediterranean region, today it serves as a venue for the best artistic productions in minority languages to come together and be showcased on a European scale.
