Giro d’Italia 2026
Saturday 30 May the Giro will return to FVG with the 20th and penultimate stage, one of the toughest and most decisive stages of the Giro d’Italia. The start from Gemona in Friuli, on the 50th anniversary of the earthquake, takes on a strong symbolic value of remembrance and rebirth. The route passes through historic villages and picturesque landscapes, all the way to the grand finale on Piancavallo: a double climb legendary, the scene of the feats of Marco Pantani, which could decide the winner of the Giro. A stage that combines history, landscape and great cycling.
