Accompanied by an expert guide, you will discover interesting facts, history and natural beauty amidst authentic landscapes, unspoilt nature and an atmosphere rich in history and tradition.

Flavours Pro Loco 2026
The largest showcase of the region’s local specialities. This year, the event will take place over two weekends, on 16–17 and 22–23–24 May, once again in the splendid setting of Villa Manin in Passariano. Participating Pro Loco associations will be serving traditional dishes from their local areas, accompanied by the finest wines and the best regional craft beers. Alongside the food and wine offerings, there will be cultural events and themed activities, shows, music and much more, ensuring that Sapori Pro Loco is a festival for everyone. Gardens open
A day spent exploring the public and private gardens of the Friuli Venezia Giulia to admire rock gardens, Italian-style, gardens ancient, Japanese, with plants aquatic and the gardens/vineyard. The event will go ahead even in bad weather; here is the list of open gardens. Sunday 17 May the museum Spazio Brazzà in Moruzzo will be open in the afternoon with guided tours at 4.00 pm and 5.30 pm. European Days of Mills
Die Veranstaltung hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, der Öffentlichkeit ein architektonisches Erbe zu vermitteln, technologischen und kulturellen Erbes, das oft in Vergessenheit geraten ist. In Codroipo in der Via Molini kann man die Mulino Bosa besichtigen, wobei einige Freiwillige bei den Führungen behilflich sein werden. Il complesso risale al 1524. Le sue pale, spinte dalla corrente della roggia Seluset, sono rimaste in funzione fino a una cinquantina di fa. Nel 2024 questo storico edificio è stato completamente restaurato. From 14 to 17 May, nine selected shows will be staged in Cividale del Friuli for the 6th edition of the festival – Europe’s leading festival for under-30s. The theme for this year is “Fear”. Mittelyoung continues with his work on research into new performative proposals (theatre, music, dance and circus) by under-30s from Central Europe. Once again this time the selection of nine shows selected was made by curators under 30. The jury of experts is composed of: Riccardo Ventrella from Teatro della Pergola, Francesca Di Fazio, junior artistic director of ERT Foundation and the critic and scholar Roberto Canziani. Setemane de Culture Furlane – Week of Culture Friulana 2026
From 7 to 17 May, the 13th edition of the Setemane de culture furlane – Friulian Culture Week – returns. Since 2014, the Società Filologica Friulana has been organising, in May, a programme of events and activities to promote the historical, linguistic and artistic heritage of Friuli. The initiative involves numerous organisations across the region: conferences, exhibitions, theatre performances, concerts, walks and many other events will take place in the various participating towns.
