A unique traditional Easter game from the Cividale del Friuli area, Truc involves rolling hard-boiled eggs down a sloping surface to knock over the opponents’ eggs. Simple yet rich in rules and symbolism, it has been recorded in town squares since the 18th century.
The eggs, decorated using natural methods, turn every challenge into a small work of art, keeping alive a tradition that brings generations together.
Over the Easter weekend, you’ll be able to take part in this ancient tradition in various squares around the city.
